The Learning Corner Co

The Learning Corner is an educational blog offering teacher-designed math worksheets, digital activities, and instructional tips to support and engage students in making mathematics simple, supportive, and fun. Created and run by a math teacher, Ela, the site provides free resources and premium worksheets available on Teachers Pay Teachers and Amazon.
Project Overview
Summary: I led a comprehensive redesign of thelearningcorner.co blog, overhauling its layout, navigation, and visual identity to create a cleaner, more engaging experience. The new design features a modern, mobile-responsive grid for featured posts, clear typographic hierarchy for easier reading, and prominent, strategically placed call-to-action buttons that guide visitors toward signing up or exploring premium content. I also optimized page load speeds, refined the site’s information architecture to surface high-value resources, and implemented A/B-tested landing pages to fine-tune messaging and layout based on real user behavior.
Objective: The primary goal was to attract and retain a larger audience by improving discoverability and readability—driving higher organic traffic through SEO best practices—while simultaneously increasing the rate of email sign-ups via inline forms. Ultimately, these enhancements aim to convert more readers into engaged subscribers and paying customers of the site’s premium worksheets and digital activities.
Project Execution
1. Stakeholder interviews.
2. Wireframing.
3. High-fidelity Wireframe.
4. Final Design.
5. WordPress development using Bricks builder.
Project Results
After the site’s redesign and rebuild, we saw a significant increase in site visits, that boost in traffic is translated into a higher rate of subscriptions. Over time, many of these subscribers converted into paying customers.
